Got a copy through one of the Ukraine bundles and fell in love. Such a wonderful expansion. I want to lead a just started local MB game into this setting. (I'm working on acquiring some figures for play aids, and maybe as Forbidden Psalm use)
One question though, on the Treasure Table (pg 30) you can find schematics for a weapon (roll d8+2) but what does a roll of 9 or 10 get you? I know I can just make this up, just as I can just change it to a d6+2 roll, but I was curious if the author had something specific in mind that I just haven't noticed?
Hey! Thanks for checking it out, and for the kind words <3
This is probably an oversight on my part, d6+2 as you say. A thought that just came to me could be an upgrade to the Nailguns to fire the Lava Nails from one of the expansion packs, or the plasma gun weapon... I didn't do anything from the expansions so maybe that's something I should whip up some time.
Qvke Borg is a Mork Borg expansion that adapts the setting to something like that of the PC game Quake.
The PDF is 44 pages, with some of the strongest art I've seen in any Mork Product. Every page is atmospheric and gorgeous. The images drip. The monsters are evocative. There's a cosplay photo worked in, and somehow it doesn't clash.
Layout-wise, this is in the classic Mork Borg style, so visual impression is emphasized over readability. However, the readability is still good. There wasn't anything I really had to squint and puzzle over.
Content-wise, there's a lot going on here. A good chunk of the book is full-page, lavishly illustrated monsters (a lot of which have mechanics that emphasize their persistence,) but there's also some cool lore linking the setting to the dying world, a new class (which is risky but has high damage potential,) new weapons (which don't disrupt the damage scaling of the core game,) new traps, and new trinkets.
There isn't an adventure, but the setting is naturally modular, and it's easy to play through a bunch of slipgate-linked randomly generated mini-dungeons.
Overall, if you enjoy Mork Borg, if you have a fondness for Quake, if you dig good art and layout, and if you want to add rocket jumps to your game, this is a fantastic pick.

I recently picked up a physical copy here in the UK along with Doorway and really appreciate the love clearly poured into it.
Great hyper-specific add-on and highly recommended.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it enough to seek out my itch page and leave a comment :D
I did a quick review of this creative game!

Just bought my copy from Exalted Funeral, and perused the PDF. Awesome work! Can't wait to add this to my collection of MB stuff.
An excellent idea and great project ... I'm so excited, I could rocket jump right now!
